Summary
Objectives
The project responds to two major challenges: growing waste and youth unemployment. Upcycling is ushering in an entirely new wave of entrepreneurial innovation. Young people can start their own businesses by producing and selling new products, made from waste.
The project aims to explore new ways of waste reduction and upcycling methods but at the same time to connect this topic with innovative measures of young entrepreneurship.
Activities
– 3 international workshops for youth trainers in partner countries, 3 days each
– 4 workshops for youth on upcycling in each partner country
– 4 organized fairs for local communities

– Best Practices Manual
Intangible results:
– Increased the creative thinking and entrepreneurship of young people with FO
– Improving the competences and teaching skills of the trainers and guidance counsellors who are involved with FO young people using practical learning tools
– Promoting the communication between all actors involved in the training of young people with FO: teachers, trainers, youth workers, social workers, guidance counsellors
