The purpose of paragraph 6 in the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, adopted in November 2009, is to promote and ensure the full and equal enjoyment of all human rights and fundamental freedoms by all persons with disabilities, and to promote respect for their inherent dignity. Based on Article 24 of the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, countries seek to ensure that persons with disabilities have the opportunity to develop their personality, talents and creativity as well as their mental and physical abilities. Countries, Parties of this convention, shall take appropriate measures to enable persons with disabilities to develop and use their creative, artistic and intellectual potential, not only for their own benefit, but also for the benefit of society as a whole. According to statistics, almost 10 percent of the world population has a disability.

Results
The main result of this project was development and improvement of educators’ and youth workers competencies and the creation of new learning opportunities for disabled youth learners. Creating an environment of inclusive learning and using friendly and relaxing environments will be key to the acquisition of competences inside target groups and particularly disabled groups for overcoming initial barriers. Educators had pedagogical training in this field and as a result, they were empowered to use the narrative learning approach in all its potential to strengthen the self-protective competencies (i.e. self-confidence, self-authorship) when working with culturally diverse groups of learners.
There are both tangible and intangible results.
Intangible results:
– acquisition of new competencies for youth educators in the partners’ organizations;
– exchange of experience and good practices among staff and youth educators at the international level;
– enhanced intercultural competences for the staff and learners;
– lifelong learning network of partners and other stakeholders involved in the project at local, national and European level; It will be represented by tightened cooperation of different communities in relation to issues of youth education. Effects of this cooperation – consolidation of mutual understanding of the essence of training tools for youth educators and workers;
– increased EU project management competencies;
– improved project partners educational offer, what can impact in increasing the interest of learners in programs offered by each partner. Disabled youth training process will become more efficient;
